Yeah, i skipped a whole 3 weeks or so in there - i know. i've slacked...

and i was just going to say f-it and start over but really, this story cant be ignored...

so, because i dont have the same job anymore, i could finally go to the daytona 500 this year. talked my parents into going as well (and by talked them into it, i mean i said to my mom, 'hey, no more tax season means that i could go to daytona this year...')
They took care of the arrangements and since they were going to make a trip out of it, felt we'd be best served to stay in orlando. cause my parents? they're disney people...

so anyway, saturday night they wanted to take me to one of their favorite disney restaurants, located in the Animal Kindgom Lodge... one of the nicer disney restaurants. so we get dressed all niceish (consider that we'll be at nascar the next day and by comparison, we were dressed for a wedding!) and headed out... sat down and immediately got on the wine list...

my parents, never drinkers in the past, have discovered wine within the past 5 years or so. and now? they're like me - always wanting a bottle, whereever they go...
so anyway, bottle of wine later and my mom? she's a lightweight - so she's a bit tipsy... slammed her hands on the table so hard at one point that people all around us looked up to figure out what the hell was going on...
but does she want to stop? oh no. she wants a dessert drink! and when i said i was going to refrain, she acted like a kid who'd been told there was no santa. and she sulked until she turned her sadness into peer pressure...

and my mother? she peer pressured me into one of those dessert drinks.
