drink: Ruinart Champagne, regular champagne and anything else i could get my hands on, apparently...
what: ENGAGED!!!!
scene 1: sunset, riverside park - down by the water, walking the dog before a supposed night out with J's friends... J down on one knee with a knit box containing a 100+ year old engagement ring, asking me to marry him. Me saying YES, of course! while holding the dog in one hand and my sunglass case in the other and needing to sit down so that i could at least see my new bling.
scene 2: soho grand, where J had checked in and already had champagne glasses and a bottle of the Ruinart Rose chilling
scene 3: whirlwind celebratory tour - the outdoor bar next to the soho grand, mercer kitchen & little branch
scene 4: waking up sunday morning happy but OH-SO hungover!
